Most_Recent_NGFS_Heat_Points_EXPERIMENTAL (FeatureServer)

Service Description: This layer contains the fire heat detections from the most recent satellite overpass with any fire detections present (within the last 12 hours). Only fire detections inside a bounding box with boundaries (-176.0, 50.0, -125.0, 72.0) are included. These fire detections from the experimental NOAA Next Generation Fire System (NGFS) are derived from Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) I-Band data, with a spatial resolution of approximately 375 m.

This layer will only show fire detections from the single most recent overpass (Not the most recent points for a given fire) in the past 12 hours with a confidence of nominal or high inside a bounding box: (-176.0, 50.0, -125.0, 72.0) Supplemental data for Alaska Wildland Fire Information web applications and web maps. These fire detections from the experimental NOAA Next Generation Fire System (NGFS) are derived from Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) I-Band data, with a spatial resolution of approximately 375 m.
